Autohide problem V8 business

Hi.

This sounds really daft, so bear with me.

I was working in the content on catalog this morning, there were 3 panes, on the left the content tree, and to the right at the top the preview pane and at the bottom the work area.
I dont know what Ive done but the work area has now disappeared, I then clicked on autohide and its all gone.
What have I done and how can I get it back please to the 3 panes?
