Suddenly unable to select layouts within the design-preview

Hi folks, I've got an odd situation I hope somebody can help me with (I've got a support ticket in but for some reason I expect little help)

For some reason I am no longer able to drill down/up/sideways etc through the layouts from within the design tab preview screen, Up until 3 weeks ago I could click on an element and theat particular layout would be surrounded by a red broken line with 4 direction arrows at the top left of the outline, now all the preview screen does is treat itself as a browser - the cursor changes over links etc but if clicked nothing happens....anyone got any ideas? Is this a known bug perhaps?

Problem solved (well, jury rigged) it turns out that the Facebook 'Like' button iframe was at the root of the problem, all I have to do is comment that line out when working on layouts.

If you wrap it in the ispreviewmode condition, that works too AFAIK.
