How to Delete a Product? :s

In no way do I think of my self as any more than an amateur Actinic designer as iv had to jump in at the deep end for my client who already has a site and he requires me to make regular changes and additions.

I have managed to figure out how to do allot of stuff alone and when i'm really stumped I come to you guys for help. (Thanks)


However, there is one very annoying problem I keep coming across.


How the hell do I delete a product? I mean Delete, not just hide.

What I'm doing at the moment is simply clicking the item and hitting "Delete" but this just puts a red cross through the product and does not actually delete it.

I can see how this is a useful function but I need to actually delete some products completely.


Please help!

Try holding Shift when pressing the Delete key. Should be gone forever then.

I had to un-delete (just delete, no shift) first, then re-delete with Shift+Del.

Now it looks ALLOT tidier

You can also hit delete on as many products as you like and then go Housekeeping > Purge > Purge content and that'll update all the content in your store.
