    Changing the date format

    Does any one know if it is poosible to change the date format.

    On our receipt page we need to pass informaiton to a database about the date purcharsed but it needs to be in the format mm/dd/yyyy.

    Can this be done it so how?

    You may be able to use some javascript to reformat the CurrentDate but I don't know if that would be then in a suitable format for your database.

    Otherwise I think it would need a perl script change to OrderScript.pl probably to line 4381 and perhaps elsewhere. Backup first if you're going to atempt to change it and you do so at your own risk. Be aware that it may have impact on or break other parts of the checkout so check any changes you make well.
