Free Shipping - Exclude Some Items

We have quite basic shipping requirements - but struggling to get them working.

1. All items ship UPS Ground so we have entered weights for all products. Shipping cost based on zip code and UPS tables.

2. Free Shipping on orders over $100

3. We have 5 heavy products (7lb) that we cannot ship for free. We want to exclude these from 'free shipping over $100' and just have the UPS Ground cost.

Any ideas on the best way forward with this.
