New Products - not displaying on homepage

We have New Products option displayed on the home page ( I believe this is a default option) but it does not actually display them. I tried to change number of products shown, lock, unlock... with no luck.

Best sellers do show if I enable it.

Sorry didn't notice that ratrace is a newbie, in time you will get familiar with actinic itself, and will be able to sort most of your questions yourself, anyway you need to go to

Settings -> Site Options -> Layout (on the left hand side), you will see all actinics layouts, scroll down to "New Products List" then select where you want New Products to appear, you can select both homepage & sidebar, sidebar only or homepage only.

Can you provide a screenshot of what you have set, not sure if you are confused or have a problem, it's not something you enable in site options, it's something you choose from a drop down list ie there are a number of choices.

If you have it selected and in the marketing menu it is enabled, then you either have no products in it, or the selector that includes this layout on your home page has been removed by mistake. Have you been working on the home page or been into the design tab recently?

Right... we have tried everything - forcing to look at specyfic products, changing to look at any new products from the past 365 days, changing layout to show only 3 products, 9 products etc. We cannot come up with any reason why actinic is not showing any products...

Can anyone help?

We did that. He can't find the problem either. I will call Actinic for advice..
