    PC crashes on snapshot import

    Hi, help please.

It seems I can export a snapshot but on importing a snapshot my PC crashes.

I have tried compacting the database - Housekeeping | Compact databases but get an error message (see attached).

I'm reluctant to make things worse via Housekeeping | Backup | Recover Database until I've had some expert advice as I'm a bit lost with this...

    Please, any suggestions..?

    Thank you,
    Glenn

    Update.

    So far I've tried:
    - Compact and repair in MS Access. Compacted okay, no errors reported.
    - Reinstalled the MDAC component.
    - Repaired ActinicCatalog9 in Windows Administrative Tools > Data Sources (ODBC)
    - Network test is okay.
    - I also tried this: "Another trick i have found is to make a copy of "ActinicCatalog.mdb" and place in say desktop. Rename the old database ActinicCatalogold.mdb. Copy the desktop version back to the original location. Most times for some strange reason it now works".

There have been no recent hardware changes.
Actinic Catalog receives and uploads orders as usual.

    Edit
    Running on Windows XP.
Windows does not report having experienced an unexpected shutdown on reboot.

No Nigel. Not Windows 7, XP with SP3.
      I've emailed Actinic support.
      Thanks anyway.
