(it's got me stumped today *frowns* & *shrugs*)

Sorted it. I'll leave this here in case anybody has the same issue. In actinic stylesheet...

p, table, td, th {
	font-family: <actinic:variable name="ACTCSSFONTFAMILY" />;
	font-size: <actinic:variable name="StandardFontSize" />;
	font-style: normal;
	font-weight: normal;
	color: <actinic:variable name="TextColor" />;
	margin-top: 0px; (I had this set to -20)
