White space issue under header before main c

Trying to get rid of the white space so the images get pulled up to the top of the page (sitting just under the search/cart boxes)

Have tried messing with the margins in CSS but no joy.

Any Thoughts?

If you firebug the site (best way to see problems, all designers use it and its free as an addon to firefox browser), you will see that there is a H1 heading on the page, but it has been told to be 5px in size and white in colour. White text on white background is clearly invisible and more importantly something very dodgy with the search engines. Colour it correctly, size it correctly and should be fine.

In addition your table of various images has an empty <p> tag at the top before it.
