    Annoying General Script Error

    http://www.apartyshop.co.uk/acatalog...&_Bowlers.html

    When a product appears in the site's search results in the above section
    eg search "Topper"

    When the link is clicked within the result a General Script Error occurs;
    Error: "Toppers_&_Bowlers.html" contains invalid characters.

    This is annoying. Is there a simple fix other than renaming or is this fixed in later releases?

    The Ampersand is probably the cause. As a test try changing it to 'and' instead of '&' and see if it works.

      Thank you. Yes, removing the "&" does work but what a hassle, as we'll have to 301 redirect plus go through the whole site and locate any others that may exist.

        AKAIK actinic will not allow an ampersand in the page name, it replaces it with an _ so i'd suggest this is a one off. Remember that in section name they are fine, it's page name that is the problem.

          Do an export to excel and then search on the page name column (CTRL-F) and search for any &, it will find them easier for you, i suspect there will be no others, if there are then you have a problem with how these page names are created.

            I'm not sure if the ampersand is replaced with _ when the sections are imported rather than manually entered.
            Did you import them initially?

              All the pages were created from scratch and strange because Actinic allowed the "&" in the page name too?
