Cgi-bin permissions error

Help for the following would be appreciated and I will give as much info as I can.

Actinic Business Plus 9.0.5
Site hosted on a verio vps2 server

Permissions on the cgi-bin are set to 755 and the acatalog to 775
Yesterday afternoon after a site refresh the scripts stopped working. On clicking on a link the following error occurred.

On doing a network test the error given is You do not have write permissions to the cgi-bin directory "/usr/local/apache/cgi-bin/" or it does not exist.

check the file permissions are at 755 and not just the cgi-bin directory

Hi Darren,

Thanks for that. They are all at 755. I have had to do a htaccess redirect and am moving to Actinic hosting so the thread is moot now but thanks for the feedback anyway.
