discount problems - help needed!

Hi Folks.

I want to give a discount of £1 per item ordered, after the 1st item. Applies to all items, not multiples of teh same item.

Thus cart is:

a - £5
b - £7
discount - £1 (for 2nd item)

a x2 - £10
b - £7
c - £2
discount - £3 (because there are 3 extra items)

ive tried various settings in 'discounts'

Anyone done this successfully?

I don't think that's possible, need to rethink the discount I reckon.

i can get it doing multiples!!! but not right.

doesnt look right.

might just skip it....!
