Want to put text at the top of a section

I want to put text, some blurb about the range of products that fall into the section, above the products. Where a section simply has products I have been able to do this by putting in a fragment,(not sure if thats the correct way to do it but it works!) however if the section has subsections Actinic wont let me put the fragment at the top, it always sink the fragment (and therefore the text) to the bottom of the list so it appears below the products and I cant drag it to the top!
Any one point me in the right direction please!

Reverse your sub section list layout settings in site options, the fragment will jump to the top then. Using fragments is the correct way.

Thanks for your reply but not sure how to reverse the subsection list layout settings - have gone into site options - then I presume its under Section - but have changed a couple of the drop downs (randomly as I couldnt work out which it was!) and it doesnt seem to have made any difference!
      Sorry to appear dumb!

In the Content Treee, go to the Section and then click on the Layout tab.

In the Section group there are 2 layouts -
        Bottom Sub Section List Layout
        and
        Top Sub Section List Layout
By the sound of it, you will have a layout defined in "Top..." and no layout in "Bottom...". Reverse these.

This is where I scream at the computer!
Have done that and yes it appears at the top of the page - brilliant but unfortunately it also brings the best sellers up just underneath it and therefore above the products - I have now fiddled and fiddled all in vain!
Would appreciate more suggestions! BIG please!

Sounds like a non standard setup you have there, custom built site or have you been making the changes? If custom built you're probably best going back to the designer, if you've done it, we're going to need to see the code producing that page where changes have been made.

If its a change you do not want anyway might be an idea to go into design > library and 'revert' any changed layouts back to factory settings using the right click menu.
