Button Width / Contempory Theme

Hi - does anyone know how to do the following on the above theme:

1. need to change width of main body
2. change width of side panel on left ie buttons (view cart. checkout etc) and new products section.

Take some time out to get to know how to use Firebug with Firefox.
Firebug Inspect Element will show you which css elements you need to change - and you can test and make mods on the fly.

For the main width look in actinic css for maincontent and change the width.
For the LHS sidebar you will need to change a number of different elements.
