PSP incompatibilty in different country versions

I'm working with a developer in the US who has a US version of Actinic - I have the UK one. Every time I try to load a snapshot from him I get a compatibility error due to an incompatible PSP.

It's been a while since I worked with him - I know there's a work-around where I can edit out the offending PSP and load the snapshot, but I can't remember what to do! I've searched the forums in vain.

Cany anybody help?

I seem to recall there is some workaround (thought it was something linked to the states and how they do their shipping integrations), wouldn't it just be quicker to install the US version on a separate machine though?
