    uac, win7 64bit, annoying

moving v8 on to a win7-64bit platform, and I've already tweaked the registry to allow a super-user the right to access Actinic (rather than an administrator) and all is OK,

Now whenever I open Actinic, UAC (User Account Control) kicks in and asks "do you want to allow the following programme from an unknown publisher to make changes on this computer" - 99% certain this is because catalog.exe is about to alter the registry, so demands permission

All I do is type in the password (of the super-user) and it allows me to continue as normal. Its already becoming annoying,

I know I can diable UAC for the whole computer, but I only want it to be relaxed for this one prog.

anyone know how to get rid of this annoying UAC prompt for this one single programme,

I've already tried "run this programme as an administrator", but no joy

I think all you can do is run catalog.exe as Admin or turn off UAC.
