No image displayed on subsection pages

Hi there, I have been trying to add images to my sub section pages but they do not display - can anyone tell me why this is and where to look to resolve it please.

I have checked that the image is in the correct folder so why won't it display?

Apologies if I am missing something obvious. My site has a number of sections within sections but I am trying to add the image in the section immediately above the product level which is where it needs to be.

I hope someone can help.

Either you've not added a section image to the relevant sections, you have a section link layout selected that does not display images (select another), you are looking at the wrong level of the catalog to see the image (move up a level, you are looking inside a section not at a section when you select one) or you have trashed the layout (revert it back to factory settings in the design library).
