Using 'Store top' page or just the online catalogue

Hi I'm trying to get rid of the Homepage so that visitors to the website are taken directly to the 'Store Top'/ Online catalogue page with the section headings listed.

I can't just delete the homepage, can I copy code from the Store top page and add it to the homepage. There are no more brochure pages apart from the homepage.

You mean you want to automatically redirect your home page to shop.html?

I would seriously look at some documents on SEO landing pages before doing that.

It's a bad idea to do this, stick with both home pages and use them to do different things. You should never remove your site home page, it's the single most important page of your site.
