V8 database corruption problem.

I have a problem in opening my current database. My last backup is not current but will not be a total disaster if I have to recover to it. However, is there a way to compact the current database without opening the program? In other words, is there a way to re-index the database file with an external program?

Open it with Access and try the repair from in there.
