Postage Options

Hi,

We currently only ship to the UK and previously have offered 98p postage with free delivery over £25.

We're considering a couple of options for the future but don't know whether Actinic v8 business can cope with them..

Opt 1. £1.50 for light items, £4.50 for heavy items but free postage for everything over £25.

Opt 2. (preferred option). £1.50 for light items with free postage over £25. Standard £4.50 postage or surcharge on selected heavier items regardless of the cost but not in addition the £1.50 (so max delivery £4.50).

Does anyone have any ideas if these options could be achieved?

Option 1: yes.

Option 2: I don't think so. IIRC the 'free over £x' is global when shipping by weight so would apply to both light and heavy items.

There was a fairly big overhaul of shipping with several additional features added - can't remember if it was in v9 or v10.
