    Adding HTML and jQuery

    Hello,

I am very new to this software so if this is a silly question I apologies but I can't find how I can do this.

I would like to add some jQuery to the site I am working on, so I would like to know if it's possible to add js files and script to the header and then add a custom section of text to the body.

If anyone could point me in the right direction, that would be great.

    Cheers,

    Matt

    Welcome to the Community, Matt.

Most of my add-ons for Actinic are jQuery based, and many sites use them, so there should be no problem using jQuery on your site.

Best place to put header code like jQuery is via Design / Library / Layouts / JavaScript Header Functions / Standard JavaScript Header Functions.

Put it at the bottom of this layout and that will include it on every page.

Save your .JS and .CSS files in the Site folder and Actinic will automatically detect and upload them to the server.

Can't tell you how to go about adding text to the body without knowing what it's for and what pages it's intended to operate on.
