We are in the midst of doing some SEO for our website. We are running version 8.5.1 and I want to add backlinks to our photos and allow when you hover over the picture to have a tag pop up. Can I do this in our version or do I need to upgrade? Thanks.

My understanding is backlinks are: being able to add a link to the picture that we post so that the spiders pick up our site more. Just learning about programming and SEO.Comment

A backlink is a link (you know the kind of thing, what the web is built of, you click it and it takes you somewhere else) from another website to yours.
What you're talking about with images is the alt text and title tags as Duncan says. They just tell the search engines what the image is about.
