    Help With Description Layout

Hi, I am not a programmer or anything like that. My question is in the Description of a product, how to I do a return key without it putting in a double space?

I want to to this. Have a feature such as Powerful and underneath that have the description of how much power the item has. Then a double space and a new feature such as Accurate then the descriptionn of how it is acurate right under that.

Thanks for any help. I don't know how to do the code so if there is a simple answer I would appreciate.

How do you remove the spaces?
For Example, In the description box of a product I will write:
This product comes in different sizes:
      10
      11
      12

When I go to Preview it on the Web Page, It will show up as:
This product comes in different sizes

      10

      11

      12

How do I remove those EXTRA Spaces??

      Thanks!

        Welcome to to Community, Nicole.

What you type in the Description box is usually what appears on the page.

What version of Actinic are you using?

And, as always, an URL of a faulty page helps a lot.

Sounds like you have that problem where each <br> is converted into a <p>. I think this is inherited from older versions, pretty sure i read an article on this in the KB a few months ago, have a quick look in there. It is giving a paragraph spacing instead of a carriage return, i think you used to choose what a carriage return would translate to in older versions.

Lee is exactly right. Carriage return will be inserting <p> tags into your html, not <br/>
