Deleted pages still showing in SiteHtml folder

Hi

I recently deleted some pages from our store and Purged the content to permanently remove these deleted pages. The site was then re-uploaded using 'Web Refresh' to refresh the whole site not just the deleted pages. I just wondered how come these deleted pages are still showing in my Sitehtml folder within Actinic?

I believe it's because it is only the data in the database that's deleted, not the physical files. You need to delete the physical files yourself. At least, this is what I've gathered from the the various housekeeping processes that are recommended, e.g. take a backup, delete all your html and images from your site and republish in order to get a clean build.
