    Discounted permutation prices not showing

I am having trouble showing discounted prices when customers are logged in.

As you can see from this picture the retail price: is showing with the correct discounted your price: underneath. However, the permutations underneath ‘should’ be showing the discounted prices but they don’t, they just show the retail prices. The discounted price (when the permutation is added to basket) shows correctly on the checkout screen.

I am using Actinic Business Plus Version 9.0.0.5.

    Any ideas anyone?

    Cheers,
    Graham

I seem to recall that is how it works, you do not get discounted permutation prices showing on screen, only in checkout. Just give the KB a check to make sure there is no workaround, will be mentioned in there if there is one.

      Cheers

      Thanks very much Lee.

I had a look and couldn't see anything that could help in the KB.

It seems a shame that Actinic offer this customer login, discount facility but not show in the permutation prices as it makes the page look confusing.

Maybe adding a little code 'discounts will show when checking out' will help.

I have also noticed that if you set up a 'customer pricing group' in 'discounts and surchage settings' you can offer a fixed discount. You can set up a 'price shedule' offering a fixed 0.8 (20% off). This is great, however if your whole product group doesnt follow the same cost plus model you cant offer any flexibility.

For example, I have some products that i want to offer 25% off retail and others that i only want to offer 20% off retail and others that dont follow a % off retail rule.

I have tried to manually 'unchecking' the generated box in the product pricing section and manually adding a price. However, this doesnt work.

Not sure what i am doing wrong or can anyone offer a solution?

On the prices tab of each product, you can specify a price for each customer group, that might work better for what you want to do?

I did this and could not see a difference in the prices. But wait, I think the same problem is accuring, the new manual price would not show in the permutation price, but would show in check out.

Thanks Lee, I will try this now.
