No more accentuated letters in email from Actinic !

I just began receiving e-mail subject message with « funny » characters.
The accentuated letters are replace and I have missing words.
My « Order received email subject » should look like this :

Réception d'une commande du site « Secondemain » !

but now the word « Réception » and the angle quotation marks are missing !

I don't remember changing anything to my Actinic setup.
I am using Actinic V9 + Thunderbird for e-mail.

Where should I look ?
My server setup ?
My Internet provider ?

If I look in message coding, I find that the subject line contains a description of the character encoding…

The characters encoding seems to be missing in the message send by Actinic.
Is there a place I could check/repair this ?

It's certainly strange. It looks like something is causing parts of the message to be seen as instructions rather than text content.

It's not obvious what is causing this so the only thing I can think of is to try and isolate where the problem is happening and then to look at it that area in more detail.

So:

1. can you send the same email from within Sellerdeck without problems?

if yes, look at the 'order received' template and the script that sends out the email. One thing that comes to mind is to make sure you haven't edited any of the email templates with an html editor that might have inserted an html header into the message text.

I tried sending emails with different original English layouts and it's working fine until I add a word in the title with an accentuated characters. Its working with my business name is « Secondemain » but not with « Sécondemain » !

I « normally » use Ultra-Edit for editing but it's seems I add/erase « something » somewhere...

I'm sorry I can't be any more help. It sounds as if there's something in the setup that's gone wrong.

If you don't use any script mods then try a full refresh. If that doesn't work try using clean copies of the scripts (I think they're in the originals folder) and then do a refresh.

If that doesn't work then it could be a language setting on the server. best talk to your hosts about that.

Last question : the original scripts I should copy would be : MailForm.pl and mailscript.pl ?

I'm not sure. I think mailform.pl is just for the contact form on the website so I think the mailscript.pl should be enough.

I replace the mail script and the original layout without success !
My final solution (not what I want) : I replace the « problem » words with words without accentuated letters.
This morning, I received an email message from another source with the same problem ! Maybe the problem come from my Internet provider !
