File Location Issues - Actinic V9

I recently changed my computer system to a 64 bit Dell system and the operating system from XP to Windows 7 Ultimate running in 64 bit mode.

Before changing my system and op system I took an up to date snapshop of all my actinic files and then reinstalled Actinic Business V8.5.3.0.0.0.ID.HB on the new system and imported my site via the snapshot but am now getting the following errors which are preventing me to upload and update the live site. I realise that the errors below say that the files are in the wrong location but what is the correct location?

Any ideas or pointers would be much appreciated.

Actinic WarningsThis site includes files that are outside the Actinic installation directory. On importing the site these files will be delivered to a temporary location within the Actinic installation directory. Manual intervention will be required to restore the site after import.

    Hi Phil,

Windows 7 separates user data from program data and so Actinic now places your site data in the documents folder rather than under /program files/.

The file path can vary but it's typically in something like C:\Users\yourname\My Documents\Actinic V8\sites\site1

The easiest thing to do is pick a product and browse to the image you want. That will then give you the path for all the other images.

    Mike

PS. You might need to look in the database to find the images that have are being referenced from the wrong place.

PPS. Most of the path info isn't needed as Actinic expects the images to be inside the site1 directory. The problem images you have are the ones that are looking in the wrong directory. You need to find them and remove teh wrong path info.
