Lost Authorization Key - Can it be found?

Hi,

We recently suffered a comp failure and all was wiped - IT managed to get the system back but it appears that the Authorization Key has been lost as when trying to open Actinic v9 it prompts for the key.

We have tried emailing Actinic support but they have no record of our key, despite giving them all necessary info. Maybe we purchased from a reseller??

Anyway, the site backup files are safe so I'm wondering whether the authorization key is located in there anywhere?

Site is still live and files hosted on external host - any possibility the key is accessible from any of those files?

When checking the Registry it appears the field for the Authorization key is empty.

Please help if you can

If you run your last snapshot it should retore your key, but you will loose any data between that backup and when you restore

Or restore Snapshot into a spare system. Then look in Housekeeping / Security for the key.
