    Changing to Https

Hi, I have two sites built in Actinic Business V 9.0.5. My Hosting company has advised me that if I need to install SSL Certificates for both sites to comply with something or other. However, in order to do so I apparently have to change all links within the sites from http to https. I am a user rather than a Developer, but have looked through all the settings tabs in Actinic trying to find out how to do this and searched the Help function. I have also searched the V.9 forum and couldn't find anything. Can anyone tell me how to do this?

    Regards, David

First go to Web / Network Setup and note down everything you see there. Also click Export and save the old settings to a file.

Then go to Settings / Business Settings / Payment and Security. Check Use SSL and select Whole Site. Then click Configure SSL Settings and enter whatever is appropriate for your hosting provider. The settings you noted down earlier should help and changing all http to https may be enough.

Hi Norman, Apologies for not getting back to you sooner. Thank you so much for your advice. After a little dance with my hosting company, which took a little while to resolve. I faithfully followed your recommendations and managed to make the change over to https relatively painlessly! I have also already made the changes to my new site, which is currently in Beta Test form. Thank you for taking the time and effort to help. Regards, David - https://www.AsianAviationPhotography.com
