Dreamweaver actinic menu greyed out

Hi. I would like to edit my files in deramweaver cs4.
I have installed the extension OK but this is greyed out in dreamweaver and does niot appear in actinic.
Has the designer disabled this at all please?

As mentioned in the attached link, pre-v904 versions do not support CS4, in that the 'Edit Layout in Dreamweaver' button will not be available.
However, there is a workaround that you could try:

With Actinic v8 closed, browse to ProgramFiles\Actinic v8 and right click the file dreamweaver.ini for editing in a program such as Notepad. In this, add the following lines right at the end :

[DreamWeaver_CS4]
nVersion=10
sRegistryPath=SOFTWARE\\Adobe\\Dreamweaver\\10.0\\Installation
sInstallEntry=InstallPath

Now insert this line under [Supported Versions] after DreamWeaver_CS3=

DreamWeaver_CS4=

Save the file. (Please note, if you are on Windows 7 or 8 and using UAC, then you will need to open Notepad as an administrator and then browse to open the file)

If you now open Actinic and view the Design tab, you should see the Edit Layout in Dreamweaver button.
