FTP error

HI i have an error when I try and upload the site (this has just started after years of being ok) the message says: An FTP error occurred: -
Request: ->Opening connection to 79.170.44.33 on port 21
Error: A connection with the server could not be established

Does anyone have any idea what I should do?

Best contact your web hosts. It sounds like something might have changed at their end.
