cgi-bin address

I'm trying to help with fault finding on our shop at www.liverpool-genealogy.org.uk.
We have the know problem of emails with 1and1 as our ISP. Another problem is that the cart page and any generated by scripts will not display any images.

I have been trying without success to load a copy of the site on my own web site petejolliffe.com, again on 1and1.

I've created a cgi-bin folder but when I try and configure Actinic I'm unable to get a test to connect to the cgi-bin. I have of course changed all the necessary setting to allow actinic on my site.

If anyone can help I'm happy to give ftp access details.

Your images in the cart being missing could be due to you using http://www.shop.liverpool-genealogy.org.uk/ as your site URL but http://www.liverpool-genealogy.org.uk/cgi-bin/ as your cgi-bin address. That shop. URL part may make Actinic think they're 2 different sites.

As for 1&1, there's a Network Setup forum that you'd be better posting in. Before doing so, read the sticky there to see what information to supply so we can help. This also applies to your images problem.
