URGENT: Update perl scripts to perl5.10 ???

Hi My server has updated and i need to update the perl scripts, how do i do this please as the catalog is currently not working.

This is their reply below.

you'll just need to update
any scripts that use Perl to "#!/usr/local/bin/perl5.10" and that should
correct the problem.

Web / Network Setup. Set Path to the Perl Shell to be /usr/local/bin/perl5.10 and click the Test button to see if that works. Note down old value first.

Also see http://community.sellerdeck.com/showthread.php?t=44811 as Perl 5.10 has been known to be troublesome.

I use V5.10.1 on my test server without seeing any problems.

Once you know that Perl is working, just do an Update. That will send the changed files (Perl scripts) to the server.
