Upload issues and website messed up

    Hi all

I suddenly had upload problems so I searched the site and found about the IE11 problem. So I uninstalled IE11. Still a problem so I even uninstalled IE10 back to IE9 and still the same.

I've tried web refresh, publish, all ways that I could see. No joy. The upload stops when it starts to send the first base file (A000.cat).

My site no longer works (www.rugsandstuff.co.uk) as I guess one of my attempts at publishing/refreshing trashed it.

    I'd really appreciate some help.

    I'm running Win7, catalog v9, build 9.0.5.0.0.0.JHZA and now IE9.

If you need more info, just let me know.

    Thanks in advance.

You may need to do a purge and refresh - Help -> Troubleshooting -> Website Purge and Refresh

You could also try Web -> Generate Scripts and then refresh.

Do you have any back ups?

      Thanks

The first suggestion had the same issue, hanged when the first .pl file was being sent.

Trying to do the second suggestion now.

Try disabling anti-virus and all back up software. It could be that they are interfering.

The Web:Generate Scripts option is a little fiddly but I've done what I could without success.

There are backups available as a last resort.

I actually changed my anti-virus yesterday from Norton to McAfee which may be relevant or just a coincidence as, unless I'm mistaken, I had a problem updating the site yesterday prior to changing the anti-virus.

I've just disabled McAfee and still no upload.

Sorry I have no more ideas then. Unfortunately the software you are using is no longer supported by Sellerdeck.

Thanks for trying, if anyone has any other suggestions, they'll be gratefully received as I'm stuck with a non-working site.

I've just turned off the firewall and the files are being transferred.

Thanks guccij for suggesting it might be the anti-virus.

                  Fingers crossed all ok now.
