Updated Perl issue on V9 with WinServer 2012

    Hi All

We have had our hosted servers updated to 2012, and the Perl scripts will not work anymore. When we contacted the supplier this is what they have said

The current version of perl on the server is 5.16.1603

    Below is Perl path:

    C:\Perl64\bin\perl.exe

    I responded with

our previous path to perl was /usr/bin/perl

and no matter what permutation of path I put in, I cannot get the Perl to test correctly, our site cannot take orders now,

    All help greatly appreciated.

    thanks

Did you try the perl settings in this thread?

      Hi Mike

yes I tried that, but as our servers are hosted (in a D path, it does not seem to take it.

      thanks

To be sure that support is telling you the right thing, it would be worth checking with them and getting a basic "Hello World" script to run. Once you can do that, the Perl path will be obvious from the first line of the "Hello World" script.

That seems at odds with your initial post but we're all friends here so no problem.

I hope sellerdeck support will be able to help you. It's not a problem I've seen come up here before.
