If you are using the Wish List fix DO NOT upgrade to v18.0.5

If you are using this Wish List (Wishlist - for search) https://community.sellerdeck.com/for...ift#post552270

    DO NOT upgrade to v18.0.5

It looks the wish list item doesn't work in 18.0.5 and needs a new version of Swift design snapshot which is still under development
    For heaven's sake...

Here is the fix. Open the site folder, right click on ActinicCatalog.mdb database, copy and paste so you have a back up.

Open in Access, go to the Page Types table.

Re-number the wishlist row 49 instead of 59.

The Swift User Guide at https://downloads.sellerdeck.com/Sel...User_Guide.pdf says on page 5, section "Compatibility":

IMPORTANT: please note that the Swift templates are not currently compatible with:

      * Wish List feature (“Business Settings > Ordering > Allow Customers to Create Wish Lists”)
Therefore if using Wishlist with Swift v1 in Desktop version 18.0.4 or 18.0.5 note that it is not officially supported. It may be partially functional with the change suggested by Jonathan (thanks!) above, but there may be other issues with it. When we fix it we'll carry out extensive testing in-house.

It does always seem that Sellerdeck is released before it is a finished product.

So many issues with Swift, yet it is considered a finished product.

Hi Jason. Sorry for your frustration. It's true that Swift v1 was released with certain limitations, but as Hugh pointed out, those were documented point by point in the User Guide.

When we previewed Swift with a few users the response was overwhelmingly positive, and the same has been true of the production release. But inevitably there are a few bugs - we tested it very thoroughly, but Sellerdeck Desktop supports so many different configurations that it's impossible to test every combination.

We are working very hard on Swift v2, which will remove most of the limitations and fix the main bugs that we have been made aware of.

Not really surprised, as the main program has broken features that spans many versions ago... It's nice to see that some effort is being put into Swift tho
