Changing Font Colour for Text in Nav-Bar Only

I have set the text & applet text at blue. However, solely in the Nav-Bar I want text to appear in white. I have used the following HTML in Act_Primary to change to this text to white but the text is still showing in blue:

<td align="left" font color="white" span class="actxxsmall">Text

Any suggestions please?

Use CSS

Edit actinic.css in your site directory and add a new class called something like actxxsmall_white. Change your code so that it reads:

<td align="left" span class="actxxsmall_white">Text

Take away the "span" you don't need it.
