    file names problem

I am currently having problems with filenaming, if a page or secion name with a char like ó or ú in the filename it doen't link as they should, I am also using the product name as a link for images and this also has the same problem.

i am using IE 6, it has been suggested that this is just a problem with IE or the Actinic software but I am unsure, I am just missing a setting

    go to

    http://www.eltocador.com/acatalog/0046w.html

than click anadir a la cesta and on the next page the image is gone because it is using a spanich char like listed above in the file name which is what the problem is

It works fine for me with IE6.

I could add to cart, confirm and subsequently view the cart without any problems (although the image was missing from the confirm page).

I have a feeling it is because I have used the char instead ñ of %F1 is this correct? is there any way around this?

        I'm not sure.

The image it's calling is 'cart_compañero%20de%20juegos%20en%20el%20agua.jpg'

From what I can remember '%20' is a space so the image name would be:

cart_compañero de juegos en el agua.jpg

I'm not sure spaces are a good idea in image filesnames (or any filename for that matter). That may be your problem.

the spaces aren't a great idea but I don't think its them that is causing the problems, I have installed mozilla firebird and the problem is no longer their it seems just to be with IE that the problem happen but this makes it quite a big problem as 98% of people will see broken images

Using %f1 instead of the ñ does bring the image up in IE. I don't know how you'd get around it.
