Product Discounts

Hello

We have an offer where you can buy any 5 herb seeds for £4.99.

I have set this up so that the items are at a trigger of quantity 5, fixed price £4.99.

There seems to be a bug if I'm not missing something where they are being provided with a discount of £5.63.

To see this in action, please go to www.mr-fothergills.co.uk/acatalog and do a quick search for "0188". Add it to cart and then add 4 more items until the qty is 5 items.

It used to work and now I can't for the life of me fix it. Can't be having too many bargains online....

I tied what you said and when i got to 5 items it gave a discount, then i carried on adding more and it did not give any extra discount.

seems to work fine for me

Try these codes

Thank you for trying.

It does work fine, that is the thing.

However, if you have time, try these codes:

0188 - Basil Arrarat
1748 - Basil Lime
1737 - Basil Minette
0298 - Lemon Grass
0408 - Sage

These items are all part of the Herb Offer and no other group and are all added to the same offer at £4.99 for 5.

This order produces the odd discount value.

Ok i see what you mean

it works fine with 1 product, and ok for a mixture of the others when you get to 5 total, then when you add the 6 i carries on giving discount. when infact it should not.

I will have to look deeper at this, but i can not promise anything so if someone out there can shed some light then please do

Just a thought have you ticked the box "only one order discount". I know that is there somewhere. There are a few options that might limit the discounting. Most of these i have not tried.

Yep I've tried all those settings, sometimes it works properly, other times not.

Very strange.

I also tried changing from adding each product individually to the group, to adding the herb sections but no change.

I think this needs further investigation.

I suggest registering an email support query at http://www.actinic.co.uk/support/register.html and refer the email support representative to this thread. There is certainly something strange going on and we probably need to look at your snapshot to work out what.
