Linking Internally to Actinic Created Pages

    Hello All,

I have created a site that has text navigation.

I don't want the contact us button along the main navigation panel and have created an additional table at the bottom of my page to link to the contact page that actinic has created 'Contact_Us.html'

I have also linked to the 'Info.html' from a 'terms and conditions' link at the bottom of the page. This is fine as 'Info.html' already seems to be created.

    HOWEVER...

When i try to remove the text 'title' contact us in the content tree that creates the pages in actinic it does not allow me adn insists that i put a character in there. For the time being i have put in a '.' which appears in the main navigation panel at the top but i would like to get rid of this.

I hope i have made sense...

Any helpful ideas out there please?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi there

It might be easier if you have dreamweaver to open the "Act_BrochurePrimary.html" template within your site1 folder. Find the variable "NETQUOTEVAR:HEADERGUIDE", which is the navigation bar along the top, simply comment or delete this, and instead have hard code links. Therefore you have greater control over the navigation.

Thank you - this worked very well.

If anybody else has this problem then i simply:

created the pages in the content tree.

deleted the NETQUOTE var's that control the brochure navigation.

hand coded links which pointed to these pages.

      www.diyheadhunter.com for the example

      cheers
