Snapshot multiple sites

I have more than one site in Developer, I would like to produce a snapshot of a site named diffrently than "site1" is this posible or do I need to rename the site folder every time?

If you need to change the site names around, then within Site - click on the name once to highlight it, then after a quick second, click it again and you can then rename it from there, which will do all of the folder changes you need within the actinic v7 | sites folder.

To export a snapshot to another PC does the site have to be named "site1"?

When you export a snapshot, the site name is not carried with the snapshot. So you can license a new site in the target PC called, say, 'MyNewSite' and then import the snapshot into it and it will be called 'MyNewSite'.

So no mater what the local site is called it will be exported as site1 and then named by the remote PC on import?

A snapshot does not have a 'site name'. It is called nothing.

It will just bring data into whatever site it is imported into.
