    Link colours in a frame..

    Hi

    Just a quickie...

    Can anyone take a look at http://www.gearshift.co.uk/acatalog/index.html and tell me why I can't define both active & visited links to be white in the L/H "Quick Navigation" frame?

    The blue is a bit hard to see isn't it?!!

    Thanks for any help...

    Regards

    Hi there Steve

    why I can't define both active & visited links to be white in the L/H "Quick Navigation" frame?
    Perhaps they are hardcoded colour links?

    Please go to "Advance | Template Manager | Other Pages"

    Click on "Frame Nav Bar" and see if the colour blue is hardcoded here

    Kind Regards

      Hi Nadeem

      Thanks for the advice.

      I should have made it clear that I'm using custom frames, so can't edit this template via Actinic.
      The navigation frame (http://www.gearshift.co.uk/acatalog/quicknavTEST.html)
      opens with blue as the (active) link colour even when not part of the framed "..../index.html" page.
      I was wondering if the script generating the nav list is somehow interfering with the specified colours?

      vlink is set to white, which works.
      alink is also set to white, which doesn't
      as below:

      <body bgcolor="#000000" text="#FF9900" vlink="#FFFFFF" alink="#FFFFFF">

      The script comes from the Advanced Users Guide (V6) pg 36

      Any ideas?

      Thanks in advance

        Active link (alink) is the colour it is when it is clicked on. You just need to define a value for 'link' e.g.

        <body bgcolor="#000000" text="#FF9900" link="#FFFFFF" vlink="#FFFFFF" alink="#FFFFFF">
