Paypal abilities

Hello Ver 7/Paypal users

I'm in the middle of upgrading to Version 7 and putting paypal to take our credit card payments. We are a business based in Africa and therefore not allowed to use WorldPay, NoChex, etc who all insist your business is in the UK or US

I'm confused by some of the posts in the list... is it true that UK Customers have to have paypal accounts but not US ones? I tried to link to the paper recommended but the link is dead

I'd appreciate any advice... without PayPal we have no other option except bank transfers

If you are a US business, anyone can enter any old credit card number for their order and the transaction will take place. Unfortunately, this facility has been restricted to the US thus far. For you, you will need customers to create a Paypal account before they can place an order at your store.
