Products with personalisation options

Hi,

One of the products that i am introducing to my catalogue has a fair bit of potential for engraving. What I need is a way to charge for the engraving work, that bit is simple, just by using an add on option I guess.

However, how do I include a text box for allowing the purchaser to type in what they want engraved?

Go into your product and onto the Layout tab.

Within that tab you will find an "Other Info Question". Place your text you want set next to the input and then upon preview/upload that text with the input will then appear.

There is also info in the Advanced Guide and Knowledge Base on turning the single line Other Info prompt into a text box where you can type lots of text.

Also I've done a patch that allows several info lines, some of which can be mandatory and some optional. Details on www.drillpine.biz/actinicstuff/

Thanks for the link. Will definitely look into it. Still working on putting all the products in. There isn't enough coffee in me to focus properly
