"-" in search term not working

Hi

If you enter a product reference as a search term the results work fine unless the reference contains the "-" character. If used, then no products are found. This works fine on our other sites.

Go into View | Search Settings and check that Not Indexed does not contain you - character, plus enabled in your valid characters maybe also...

Strange, our other sites work ok without the - in the valid characters, but I have added it and now we can search successfully, so thank you for your help.
