Problems with referrer code in link text

I'm trying to have a link which contains a referrer code (which is downloaded with the orders into a text field at under misc) and links directly to a product.

What I've come up with is:
    http://www.puddlepetcare.co.uk/cgi-b...MATICFEEDERC10

which links fine to the product but the source code does not come through.

Played around with this for a while now and I can't see the wood for the trees so to speak.

Firstly is this possible (was sure I'd done it before!) and if so why isn't above working???

    Thanks

    Hi Kathy

Couple of things you could try.

    1. Try taking out the 'NOLOGIN' part.
    2. Rather than pointing it to a product, using productref, just having the destination to a html page

Correct formatting for Referrer Script taken from the Advance User Guide v7
    Code:
    http://www.myserver.com/cgi-bin/rs000001.pl?SOURCE=123&DESTINATION=Section%5fPage%2ehtml&PATH=%2e%2e%2fhtdocs%2facatalog&BASEURL=http%3a%2f%2fwww%2etmyserver%2ecom%2facatalog%2f

Thanks Nadeem - however we have to have it pointing directly to a product and not a page. We're using these links so we can track where orders came from (eg Pangora, Zencudo portals) and we have to link direct to the product.

        Hi there Kathy

Looking at your code again, you seem to be using a search script, not the referrer script. rs000002.pl is the referrer script.

we have to have it pointing directly to a product and not a page.
I'm afraid this is not possible, the referrer scripts needs the destination page not a product reference.
