    online form reciept confirmation pages

    hi there all,

i have made a couple of forms on my web, by copying an existing form on the website and changing the fields. But the only problem is that i dont have any confirmation pages once the form is completed by a visitor. It just goes to an error page. I get the form in my email, but its not very professional.

I need to have a form confirmation page with a link back to the website front page. I can edit this easilly in dreamweaver, this is if i know where in dreamweaver i tell the form to go (or point to) once it has been filled out.

Any idea anyone how i can simply make a confirmation page? below are the web addresses for the forms that i am having problems with and where they go to:

    form 1 : http://www.decorativextras.com/acatalog/feedback.htm

    goes to: http://www.prosite.co.uk/cgi-bin/mailform.pl

    form 2: http://www.decorativextras.com/acata...offer_form.htm

    goes to: http://www.decorativextras.com/acatalog/thanks.htm
(but i want to create a page like this, but one that says something different - i know i can just edit this page and rename it, but how do i do this in dreamweaver - i.e. tell the form where to go to for confirmation - or do i need to do this in actinic?)

    form 3: http://www.decorativextras.com/acata...quest_form.htm

    goes to: http://www.decorativextras.com/acatalog/thanks.htm

i think the solution is to just take the page: http://www.decorativextras.com/acatalog/thanks.htm and edit it and point it somehow in actinic or dreamweaver to the renamed page, but where can i do this?

thanks for any help all in advance,

    Regards,

    Anil

Got to be honest and say that I think you are trying to do too much at once and maybe do not really understand the Actinic system well enough to be trying deep indepth changes like you are attempting, also your forms are nothing to do with Actinic I am afraid, so unlikely that anyone will have any solution for you unless they use this prosite service that you are using.

In another post you say that you have a web developer, does he/she not do or able to do these things for you?

Dont mean to be rude, you just seem to be firing tons of posts about everything under the sun with regards to your site at the forum, so maybe you should consider taking it one step at a time maybe or getting some help from your developer maybe.
