Space between navigation buttons - help

Dear All, I have created custom buttons to sit on my navigation bar but I want them to be right next to each other. Currently there is spacing between them. I have searched a few threads with similar problems, tried the advice there, but my problem remains which is baffling.

If I attached text files of the template files would anyone take a look and see what the problem might be?

Which template files do I need to attach that will impact on the nav bar in the main brochure section of the site, and on the index page too?

The navigation comes from Act_BrochureNavItem.html, which can be found in "Advance | Template Manager | Brochure | Nav. Item".

To be honest, if you have created custom buttons and want them to sit next to each other, then it would be best to edit the "Act_BrochurePrimary.html" and "Act_Primary.html". Remove NETQUOTEBAR:FOOTERGUIDE from here (which shows the navigation) and insert your custom buttons and hard code the links.
