Hi,

I have some alignment problem here. I have jst added a new link and thus, causes the menu bar to lengthen and because of that, my inital "Search Box" was hidden by the menu bar. Then, i went to "actPri.html" to do some shifting and it helps. However, i do not know why only this specific pages does not apply to the change:

Maybe someone know why is the template different from others? what is the template of this?
Look at the footer of these:

I thought i have change the footer information for all but the former templates did not apply. I wonder what are the templates that i have missed out. i tried seraching the adv user guide but nt much help either. pls guide..

Your first question about the simple search box:

You have inserted lots of <br> tags into the sidebar of Act_Primary.html in order to move the simple search down the page. You just need to add a few more in to make it appear underneath the NorTree menu system.

Your second question re footers:

You are not clear enough. What is wrong with these pages? They look fine. What should they look like? Please explain more.

But why the searchbox for this pageA could be seen and searchbox for B cant be seen.

I thought Act_pri should apply to all the layouts?

Regarding the footer, it seems like there are more than one templates. Notice the navigation bar right at the bottom, it started with "home, About us, size information..etc" The (Size Information) has already been taken out and the new look should look "home, About, testimony..etc" with the Size info already taken out. Yup.

There is a difference between the two pages which is causing your problem. It is not that the search box moves, it is that the main body of the page starts further down on http://www.hst.com.sg/acatalog/shop.html. This is due to two <BR> tags between the top table which contains 'Home', 'Contact Us' etc. and the main table which contains the sidebar etc. The Normenu stays at exactly the same point in the browser window regardless of this.

I think you are using a different layout for the store front page to the rest of the store. This is proven by the problems you are having with your footers.

You need to look in 'Design | Options | Layouts' and see whether you are using a different overall layout template for your front page - look in the 'Front Page Layout' field. If not, then you need to check the 'Overall Layout' fields for all your sections and see whether they are using a different template to the default overall layout.

Hi,

Ya becuase i have added the something into norman menu, it lengthens thus, blocked my serachbox. Thats why i try to push down using more "<BR>". But you were saying the cause of the problems is the top menu bar? How could it be? Then what can i do? Use <BR> on those top menu bar?So you mean all along, i am only changing the Act_pri.html n as for the other one which is another template? that is?

I have checked, the Default and fraontpage log out all uses ths same template that is, sidebar down the left hand side.
