    Linking to external database

I currently have a catalog that includes components and the works I want to be used on different websites. Everything for each website will be the same apart from the design and url. I know some will say that I should use affiliate software but this is not the road I want to go down for various reasons.

Is there a way of linking all sites to the same database? I currently have Developer 6 and this doesn't appear to be an option but is it the same in version 7?

    Cheers

Not possible to use multiple sites under the same DB afraid, as the Db's are located witin their respective sub folders within sites, so the first would be site1 with its own catalog.mdb file, then your next one you may have called mysitename will be in sub folder off sites called /mysitename again with its own Db.

The only way to have the products within all sites updated from a single source would be to create an external data source, which you connect to each site, then when ever you update that external source and then load the site within the software, then it would pick up the changes.

You would be looking at creating and maintaining a hieractical (my spelling is bad) file for this most probably though
